Sounds like a great product, but how do you get around the problem of
back-up ID? In many countries merchants are required to ask for ID
bearing the same name as printed on the card at the point of sale. This
is the reason we are given by Mastercard in Miami for not being allowed
to issue Maestro cards with no name.

Also, do these Cambist Visa cards work OK on internet transactions?

Since you guys specifically claim that the Electron card is more
versatile than Maestro, I'd also like to point out that it's not
strictly accurate to claim that Visa Electron cards are accepted where
you see the Visa logo. There is a separate Visa Electron logo which is
shown in merchants accepting these cards... to all intents and purposes,
Visa Electron is to Visa like Maestro is to Mastercard. Most places
accept them but not all... I would say that with a few geographic
variations, Visa Electron and Maestro are equally useful.
