Definitely! I have had some terribly slow times connecting to servers lately, even those hosted by entirely separate companies. My primary hosting company confirmed that it was a uunet problem. Results from tracert (the trace-route program) showed abysmally slow hops out there on the big pipes. On Thu 3 Oct 2002 at about 01:30 Eastern time, the problem suddenly cleared up.
