Hmm - I am always a little concerned about competitions.
What is to stop them from giving the prize to their staff
members? - "Hey check it out - you won again Bob!"

I *personally* believe that even if your bot was playing
hundreds of hands every hour through multiple accounts,
then your chance of being included is incredibly small ...

Jon, I was an hourly winner a number of times in the previous month's contest (for the fancy video camera) -- I was even a daily finalist, as I recall, in the first contest for the mac. There's a foto there of the guy who won the camera, with the camera (not that that means anything)

(The number of hands played each day ... something like 5 or 10 thousand ... was given away by them when they had the "funbonds" thingy)

But you're right, "trusting" any entity is a huge issue.

There really seems to be no solution to it. ie, how do you trust e-gold or goldmoney? Jim Ray or James Turk could just take all the gold! :) The idea that they have a few independent "attorneys" or whatever keeping them honest? oh ok

Obviously, it goes without saying that only an insane person would trust any large company like Enron, Ford, etc since their bookkeeping is farsical (I was just reading about Ford's problems with unfund pension liabilities)

I have no idea why clients trust say ISL .. probably just from expereince. I dunno why anyone trusts MMs! Again probably just from experience.... Why do we trust, say, the dry cleaner not to wander off with our shirts ... I dunno, it's tough.
