Graham seems to be getting a lot of grief recently. As I recall, GoldNow says explicitly on their website that credit card orders will take at least 48 hours for validation and such, and thus to be uptight and calling GoldNow a scam when they are, apparently, following their anti-fraud proceedures seems to be premature.
I have used GoldNow in the past and was pleased with the service I received. I havn't moved any money into e-gold lately, so I couldn't really comment definitively on current service, though. While I would have to say that the issue prior to this one (where it was an international money order that slipped through) was obviously bad, I will say that the people of GoldNow are human and things do slip through even the tightest proceedures every once in a while. I don't know if that issue was resolved, but Graham did say that it would be resolved and given my prior experience with GoldNow, I would be inclined to accept that it will be. For this case, however, I'd have to say that the suspicion pointer would be pointing at this 'mimox' person right now. From what I've seen from the exchange providers, credit card transactions are inherantly risky. GoldNow has a defined proceedure for accepting credit card transactions to reduce their risk and it seems to me that someone unwilling to wait 48-72 hours or so for an order to complete through the defined proceedure has something to hide. Just from what I've seen on this particular instance so far, I'm personally inclined to be backing Graham. Incedently 'mimox', if you can't use english properly, it would be better in my oppinion to send your message in your native language. There is nothing wrong with not knowing english well, but trying to use english in a forum like this without really knowing english just makes your message incredibly hard to understand. I think I probably would have had better success with your message if it had been run through an automated translator from your native language.
