I should add that I also consider him to be benevolent or well-intentioned. The OSGold thing always puzzled me, that he would provide exchange for it, but I don't know (and doubt) that he ever made any claims of OSGold's worth.
Maybe the best policy in regard to the process of a foreign court is to simply ignore it? Then one cannot incur legal costs.
What would be the result of someone making false charges against person X in Bangladesh (for example)? Person X pays millions of dollars to lawyers in USA? Person X ignores false charges, as they have no basis in reality and do not warrant the dignity of a response, nor does a court in USA have the right or the power to take money he does not possess away from him. If court Y in USA can simply find against any person anywhere in the world on the basis that they did not appear to defend themselves, then this would simply be the action of a rogue state with legal theft from anyone it pleases.
