It's hilarious to me that the pinkos at the Times  and at Columbia
University actually consider this a bad development.  Barter represents
the original store-of-value concept.  The guy saying he can pay for a
movie ticket in cash but not corn is obviously not considering the
possibility of corn-backed currency, which would certainly be preferable
over Argentine pesos and even epistemologically superior to all fiat
currencies, including the US dollar.

And of course, the Argentine government is not poo-pooing on the idea ...
rather, they are looking at revising the tax code to relect the barter
system.  How quaint -- like a return to feudal times.
