Hi:
In doing research I was quite surprised to learn the extended use of debit
cards outside the U.S. We all hear how they are more common than credit
cards in Europe. But, do you really know how much more?
In Hungary, for example, with over 5 million cards issued, 4.6 million are
debit cards! That's 90%!
The major reason why is the extended use of debit cards at the POS, thanks
to Maestro.
