Dear Arik,
Meaning, that we need to oppose government activities?
If you believe what the government is doing is wrong, yes, you should oppose it. Oppose it with words or actions as you see fit.
Of course, not all government is evil. For example, there is a type of government which I find very appealing. It is called self-government. From the Greek language we might form the term "autarchy" to mean the same thing. You can read more about it at http://www.self-gov.org/ if you like. A great many people did very little while the Nazis went nuts in Germany during the 1930s. Some did nothing, others actively supported the Nazis. As a result, a fairly decent country was turned into a living hell on Earth. Many here among us believe that the United States is now undergoing a similar transition. Nobody did very much when idiotic searches began at the airports in 1978, in violation of the second, fourth, and fifth amendments. Those searches have now been federalized, and still nobody is doing very much. As a result of these failings, among a great many others, I believe the American people will "reap the whirlwind." It couldn't happen to a more deserving group.
