EcMA is the E-currency Merchants Association www.ecmaweb.com if you recall I had written you a month ago to ask permission to use a similar name such as the GDEMA, but we both agreed it was no good. Then we briefly discussed how you would also like to expand the GDCA merchants area. Ring any bells?
So as soon as we can fix the membership software tomorrow I will officially open membership area to paid non-founding members ($19yr). We are a marketing organization designed to provide helpful information to merchants, agents, retailers & consumers who spend, spend, spend (x-mas is coming) on how to use e-gold & other e-currencies plus expand their online businesses. It is a very growing association of web professionals who want to expand their sales but are not familiar with how to buy/sell or accept say, e-gold. People who now today should know the benefits of e-currency over CC's. There is loads of great info out there on how to get set up with e-currency so we are just trying to put it all in one place with some experts helpful insight, forums & answers plus discounts and bartering as an added benefits for our members. A section on how to combat fraud, hacking and key logging would be excellent and is already in the forum area, but people need specifics. I don’t know how to get a keylogger off my PC. Perhaps in our forums, someone will share some ideas and prevent some e/c accounts from being looted. I’ll post copies of the fake letters, etc & items such as that....People especially in the US need to get moving away from CC’s and headed towards where it appears the rest of the world is already going to digital gold backed currency. Plain and simple we have some good founding members providing content for forums and newsletters, software projects such as SCI items (I have two under development this week for EcMA marketing) and hope to do some major advertising on behalf of our members in the years to come.
