Thanks *PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT ANALYST* RESPONSIBILITIES Assist the Product Owner in the decision making process by producing reports, analyzing data and providing information. Responsibilities include: *Monitor and evaluate the bank's own and competitors' products, services and industry best practices. This includes spreadsheet development and special analysis for product specific situations. *Prepare Standard Operating Procedure as guidance for the Division's products *Assist Product Owner with rate reviews and product changes. *Conduct meetings to facilitate development and implementation of rate and product changes by solving problems and resolving discrepancies. *Research and analyze new products or changes to existing products. *Work with functional departments such as Legal, Operations, Wealth Management, Risk Management, Compliance, Overseas Branches, etc QUALIFICATIONS The successful candidate will have a Bachelors Degree in Business or a related field. A background in banking is preferred and insurance, fixed income, economics or finance background is an added plus. The qualified candidate should meet the following criteria: - 2 years relevant experience in product or business development, with knowledge in all aspects of banking operations (such as remittance, trade, custody, etc) *Skilled in resolving problems through rigorous examination of complex issues and looks beyond the obvious. *Motivated and driven - is a self starter and willing to accept responsibility. * Fluent in English, both written and spoken *Highly skilled in Microsoft office products including Word, Visio and Excel. Database skills a plus. *Strong organizational and planning skills. *Naturally inquisitive - sees the entire picture and willing to try anything to find solutions. *Strong interpersonal skills - relates well with all types of people and does not get frustrated by tight deadlines. *Knowledgeable about impact of strategies and tactics in the market place. *Understands competitors' actions in the market place. *Willing to keep skills up to date.
