Congratulations to the players and their fans. I thought it would make some sense to look back at what's been going on since they last won. Twenty-five other baseball teams won championships during that period of time. There were a few wars including a couple of "world" ones. Alaska and Hawaii were welcomed into the Union. A cure for polio was discovered. And get this - man walked on the Moon! It'll be fun to take another look back like this in 2090 when the Sox win their next championship.
