We have a design with an intel 82576, this chip should be able to
generate a hardware 1pps signal on SDP0.
I have studied the igb driver, but there's no support for this in the
drivers.
The ixgbe driver can do this, and I can understand from the driver how
this is done. This method is not useableon the 82576.
I find the datasheet very vague about generating a custom clock, it does
however mentions that it is possible to generate a clock.
Does anyone have a clue how to accomplish this ?
Any pointers would be welcome.
