The 11:22:33:44:55:66 was meant to indicate a place for an address, not the
address itself. I apologize for the confusion, I could have chosen better.
The real address is 00:1e:67:xx:xx:4a (which works), but when the last octet
is changed to 4b, the incorrect functionality takes place.

Note that in this message, I replaced the octets 4 and 5 with "xx".
