Hello, noob's suggestion: why not mirroring both "label name" and "version number": e.g. have 0.201007.0 as the version, and R0_201007 as the tag ?
(of course, 201007 as in 2010-07 aka "2010 July" => and if you have only one release per month, everything's ok with versioning ordering) Regards, -- Laurent 2010/7/28 John Arthorne <[email protected]> > > Just a heads up on a naming issue that came up this morning. We are still generally referring to it as the "July > 2010" release, but be aware that in zip file names you will see the 0.10 > number, and the tag for the release in the e4 CVS repository is R0_10. > > John > _______________________________________________ > e4-dev mailing list > [email protected] > https://dev.eclipse.org/mailman/listinfo/e4-dev > >
