Hello,

noob's suggestion: why not mirroring both "label name" and "version number":
e.g. have 0.201007.0 as the version, and R0_201007 as the tag ?

(of course, 201007 as in 2010-07 aka "2010 July" => and if you have only one
release per month, everything's ok with versioning ordering)
