Hi,
Here is a minor release of eagle-usb for those that would want to use it
for kernel-2.6.14 or would like to benefit from latest ISP identified...
See http://dev.eagle-usb.org/wakka.php?wiki=EagleUsb230 for updates
done, a changelog is available at
http://cvs.gna.org/cvsweb/eagleusb/ChangeLog?cvsroot=eagleusb;rev=1.15
You can give feedback if it works correctly for you.
works perfectly on Fedora Core 4
I'll publish it soon to sourceforge & freshmeat to confirm that
ueagle-atm is now the official driver that replaces eagle-usb.
I'll wait for the official annonce before uploading my rpm on
http://remi.collet.free.fr
I use a modified .spec file to
- create the "eagle-usb_must_be_configured" only on install (not on update).
- allow build and install on a non-running kernel (add depmod)
- send eaglectrl -d if needed
- wait for modem initialization before connecting

I strongly suggest to subscribe to ueagleatm-dev mailing-list at
https://mail.gna.org/listinfo/ueagleatm-dev/
if you've not yet done so.
eagle-usb driver is no longer properly maintained as it is replaced
completely by ueagle-atm which is now in the kernel and works "out of
the box" in kernel-2.6.16.
Yes.
Works very fine on Fedora Core 5 test 3 (kernel-2.6.16rc3)
You'll find a french tuto. on
http://www.fedora-france.org/modules/wiwimod/index.php?page=Eagle+:+configuration+des+modems+USB&back=R%E9seau
or (nearly the same)
http://remi.collet.free.fr/index.php?2006/02/24/113-configuration-du-pilote-ueagle-atm
Actually only for pppoa, but pppoe is ready and will be published soon.
Remi.
