Hi, The debian documentation has been updated, see : http://dev.eagle-usb.org/wakka.php?wiki=DocDebian
I thinks it corresponds to latest sarge (=debian stable=3.1). please update if you encounter any problem. We are looking for english translation ;-) http://dev.eagle-usb.org/wakka.php?wiki=DocDebianEn If you are using kernel > 2.6.10, have a look at http://ueagleatm.eagleusb.org (we are just forgetting eagle-usb support for later kernel version, broken in 2.6.13, we just do not mind, just give us support we'll do). Polish people are already contributing and it just works. What are you waiting for at ADI ? It's working in France as well and we have a dedicated forum : http://forum.eagle-usb.org/viewforum.php?f=11 maybe ADI could just confirm that USB firmware (8051 asm based) is free (libre as in GPL, as reverse engineering already exists) and DSPcode is free (or at least 2-clause BSD based or perhaps libre with source code as I'm a dreamer thinking open-source=libre). Well, I've been requiring a free license to ADI for one year. When can we receive a positive answer, Tony ? Not even open-source but at least as 2-clause BSD ? (without source-distributable as we would prefer it, but as we want it : to everyone gratis with no assumption of any responsability on ADI, GPL being the natural way to go, 2-clause BSD avoiding ADI giving the source, for your own choice). Wath's you choice ? open-source working now and for the long time or remaining closed-source ? please answer to our mailing-lists @++ Ben. aka baud123 PS : "reply to all" will be giving out your own e-mail, make your choice : Farinam can advise you (as Sagem can indulge you to doing it)
