we would expect 9032 indeed for product-id pre-firmware eagle-III chipset

booting can be caused by wrong CMV values sent to the modem (but they
should be the same as the ones you send to the eagle-II as this depends on
the DSLAM...).

In which modem is it included ? Sagem ? another brand ?
We have no information about a new type of chipset or a new firmware.

I hope you can find where the problem comes from.
Perhaps another problem with little-endian / big-endian issue ?
Or perhaps your usb module does not read correctly the value ?
