OPTN #7 is just supposed to limit the ADSL sync rate below a given value.
Eagle-USB chipset is well suited for UBR but is not designed to support
PCR.

Hi,
from infoCMV I've seen that the optn #7 may be used to limit the
transmission rate. From "CMV REFERENCE MANUAL": if Bit 25 is 1,
Bits 24-16 define the Max DS rate that ATU-R would like". I'd like
to know, is this optn.7 enough to limit the DS rate? That we need
is the PCR, that means we should not exceed certain cell rate for
some ds line.
