Hi all,
Some news about use of eagle-usb with Knoppix.
Knoppix now uses only one kernel 2.6.11, headers are not available on CD.
But Knoppix now use UnionFS so we could now access the entire filesystem
in read/write mode.
I managed to restore sources
(http://doc2.linucie.net/Install/ConfLive#toc6 in french :o) and compil
eagle-usb for the last release kernel of knoppix (2.6.11).
I've made an archive (available at:
http://joday.free.fr/archives/sagem/Eagle-usb_en-live/eagle-usb-2.1.1_Knoppix_live_2.6.11.tar.bz2
) to allow users to "make install" eagle-usb in live-cd so that they
could entirely profite
of your job (not a dirty "bouine" like sagemlive I'd previously done).
Knoppix uses pump as dhcp client, I found a command to allow "degroupé"
users to connect:
sed "s/dhclient/pump -i/g" < /usr/sbin/fctStartAdsl > fctStartAdsl && sudo mv
fctStartAdsl /usr/sbin/fctStartAdsl && chmod +x /usr/sbin/fctStartAdsl
I'm sure we could do it simpler but It works :)
Regards,
Jody
