-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi guys, I have a strange problem since I moved to 2.6.8 and eagle-usb-2. It seems that the usb module is going crazy every 24 hours and the connection stops. The usb module produce a callback (ask me if you want it, I have so many...). I move on successively to 2.6.9 and actually I'm running a vanilla 2.6.10. I still have the same problem even with the latest release of the driver.
Last time I talked about this problem, I have been advised to install the testconnec script, but it indeed fails to keep the connection up so I use mine. Basic yet effective (ask me if you're insterested). Maybe it's all because of my gentoo :) Here is an example of a trace of the usb module Jan 24 03:30:04 shinobu syslog-ng[13546]: STATS: dropped 0 Jan 24 06:14:49 shinobu Badness in uhci_map_status at drivers/usb/host/uhci-hcd.c:726 Jan 24 06:14:49 shinobu [<c4922505>] uhci_map_status+0x95/0xa0 [uhci_hcd] Jan 24 06:14:49 shinobu [<c49228ec>] uhci_result_control+0xec/0x1d0 [uhci_hcd] Jan 24 06:14:49 shinobu [<c49230db>] uhci_result_isochronous+0x6b/0xa0 [uhci_hcd] Jan 24 06:14:49 shinobu [<c49235bd>] uhci_transfer_result+0x16d/0x180 [uhci_hcd] Jan 24 06:14:49 shinobu [<c4923bb5>] uhci_free_pending_tds+0x45/0x60 [uhci_hcd] Jan 24 06:14:49 shinobu [<c4923de1>] uhci_irq+0xe1/0x200 [uhci_hcd] Jan 24 06:14:49 shinobu [<c02ec146>] usb_hcd_irq+0x36/0x70 Jan 24 06:14:49 shinobu [<c0107c09>] handle_IRQ_event+0x49/0x80 Jan 24 06:14:49 shinobu [<c0108043>] do_IRQ+0xc3/0x1a0 Jan 24 06:14:49 shinobu ======================= Jan 24 06:14:49 shinobu [<c0106258>] common_interrupt+0x18/0x20 Jan 24 06:14:49 shinobu [<c0240231>] acpi_processor_idle+0xce/0x1bc Jan 24 06:14:49 shinobu [<c0240163>] acpi_processor_idle+0x0/0x1bc Jan 24 06:14:49 shinobu [<c01040dd>] cpu_idle+0x2d/0x40 Jan 24 06:14:49 shinobu [<c04d47cf>] start_kernel+0x18f/0x1d0 Jan 24 06:14:49 shinobu [<c04d4380>] unknown_bootoption+0x0/0x170 Jan 24 08:11:16 shinobu [EAGLE-USB] SM: LOS Defect Jan 24 08:11:35 shinobu [eagle-usb] Modem operational !! - -- EvaSDK -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.0 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Thunderbird - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iD8DBQFCH4IE1fmVwcYIWAYRAuZxAKDiY00c3ccterOdfYqudcNRJ4D2ZgCfT53e kEWoiu6oJwiRfpBMcFqSmMY= =vtMh -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
