This solution cannot be used in every case because we usually use variables:
ex:  grep -ve "$ISP_LOGIN" $PPP_DIR/pap-secrets
We don't know whether $ISP_LOGIN contains a special character.

Additional question: is it possible to use "\t" with grep? It doesn't seems to 
work...
