I have updated page http://dev.eagle-usb.org/wakka.php?wiki=ModemSupportes to show modem revision indicated mainly by cat /proc/bus/usb/devices | grep 1110 for 800, 908 et E2L modems.
It would be nice if scripts display a warning message when unknow revision are seen, indicating something may need to be done at the driver. If people with 800 PE, E2, E2T, E2L or E3 could add the info or simply report to the list displayed values before and after firmware loading.
