Sorry ludovic, neither Sl33p3r, nor I, had time to have a look at your patch yesterday. It may be easier if you could publish your patch on the ML without the diff on BNM files and without the source that we all have access at http://baud123.free.fr/eagle-usb/eagle-usb-2.0.0/ (just remind us of which version to use, 2.0.0_20041012_snapshot if I remember well). This way, it will be suficiently light not to pollute all our mailboxes (less than 300 kB is ok, more than 500 kB is too much). The patch you are sending is considered GPL, as all documentation that we produce is GPL (or GFDL), which seems no problem so far either for ADI or Sagem. You can update http://dev.eagle-usb.org/wakka.php?wiki=DevEagleUsbIII or precise how to apply your patch to the version *before* sl33p3r's changes in your mail. BTW, I still have some unanswered questions on this web page (see at the bottom). I'll have to begin a documentation on CMV on our http://faq.eagle-usb.org as well to explain how to use : - either previous BNM files (or the "compiled result" as dsp_code*bin) with working values in /etc/eagle-usb/eagle-usb.conf - or latest BNM with the new values needed This way, we'll avoid having too many people complaining that their modem remains at state INITIALIZING :'-( Once we have identified what in the latest changes by sl33p3r causes initializing problems (perhaps the use of strtol function ?) we can publish a 2.0.0 version and work from a "stable" version and update cvs from there to implement your requirements. What's strange is that current cvs works for me (only this blinking ADSL LED...) on a cooker 10.1 with kernel-2.6.8-10mdk (not yet updated to 12mdk...). I haven't used CMV files (CMVep.txt) yet : I only configure /etc/eagle-usb/eagle-usb.conf with correct values (those that are currently in cvs) and replace dsp_code*bin with latest.
