I tried a recursive check-in on a directory, thinking it would only check-in my checked-out files. Unfortunately, for every one of the several-thousand files that *wasn't* checked out, I got a message box telling me so. After a few minutes of clicking "OK" over and over again, I finally had to kill the IDEA process (since there was no "cancel" button).
(FYI, I'm using SourceSafe, if that's relevant.) Request: on any kind of a batch request, collect all the messages into a single dialog, to be acknowleged at the end.
