I'm not even saying "Don't do a JDK 1.4 version yet". I just want a
more stable 1.3 compatible version before it's not supported any more.
I sympathize with wanting performance improvements that will come free
with JDK 1.4. But don't leave me with a broken #629!

Two weeks ago there was a lot of discussion about "I wish JetBrains
would stop all this feature development and make it more stable." I
came down firmly on the other side: "It's an EAP build, and they'll
focus on features first and stability later." Now that I know that
there's not going to be a "later" for me (for many months!), I really
wish they would spend a little while going for stability to fix up the
known issues (and wait a week for more issues to be found and reported),
and make JUST ONE more stable JDK 1.3 release.
