What about if there is an action for VCS operation forcing the dialog to
appear- then I can map:

Ctrl+`, O to "Checkout"
Ctrl+Shift+`, O to "Checkout and force dialog"

--dimiter

I don't know if anyone else has this issue, but I thought I'd mention it--

Our policy is to provide a brief note regarding what changes were made to a
given file when committing it to CVS. This entry is made in the "Log
Message" field on the CVS Options pane when perfoming a CVS commit.

So far, so good.

At times, I find myself "missing" the OK button just a bit-- especially when
making a large number of changes. When I do this, like as not the cursor
slightly past the "e" in the text for the checkbox "Do not show this dialog
in a future"-- resulting in the checkbox being inadvertently checked.
Unfortunately, I generally realize that I missed and compensate, but don't
notice the checkbox is on until too late. This means that I have to go into
the project properties to re-enable the messages on commits, taking time,
slowing things down etc.

Note that I'm not sure this needs to be changed, although I expect that most
people have a policy (either do or don't for each function) and don't need
to be prompted each and every time. I just find it very annoying when I get
bit.

Also, I expect that the dialog should read "Do not show this dialog in THE
future" just to pick nits.

Thanks for the rant.

rob.
