-1 for putting this in CTRL-N (I have no objection to the actual functionality).
CNTL-N is probably one of the most used features and anything that may slow this down or complicate it is a bad thing in my book. Perhaps CTRL-RSHIFT-N or something similar to pull up the more complex version. Keep frequently used features concise.
