Yep Florian, that is exactly what I would need !
I requested that in the past, suggesting that :
- we could have a context menu item "exclude...", then sub-items with a
checkbox
exlude from search
exclude from compile
exclude from find usage
exclude from refactoring
it's a fine-grained granularity for excluding classes, jsps, etc...
- we could have some supplementary buttons (like flatten package) in the
project pane/source pane
showing or hiding excluded files
Maybe it's a bit cumbersome to use, but one would use it only if it's needed
! So it would not impact on others' habits.

yes...
what about if when a source path is included one could add exclusion
rules.... similar to how ant works with filesets and dirsets.
