You can select multiple items in the project view by holding CTRL when clicking (or spacing), so perhaps an option on the context menu?

Please respond to
eap-features
I do like the notion of applying a function only across all currently
open sources. I haven't really needed such for compilation (Make Project
has been sufficient), but I have wanted to search and/or replace over
the group of all open sources.
It would also be nice to be able to recall (& persist) different groups
of open files without the weight of a separate Project. This is
especially helpful when you are switching between different tasks but
haven't yet completed the previous one(s).
