Hi there, I think you should use the "easily-identifiable" icons you have in the project/commander/ejb panes in all the panes that show/list files (instead of the old J ones). I especially find myself looking for such hints when using recent files list (Ctrl + E) and the find pane. The ToDo pane and the main tabs wouldn't hurt, either. :-)
