BTW here is a 2 byte almost-solution of these problem :) place this bat file or a shortcut to it in your quicklaunch bar and you would be able to drag files instead of doubleclicking on them.

It would be useful in some situations an other IDEs allow it. It would obviously require the disabling of some of the error checking.
