There's a method completion quirk in most IDEs I've used... I'd really like
this to be addressed.

Imagine...

      obj.wrongMethod();

...double-click or otherwise select the method name, and then delete it...

      obj.|();

(| shows cursor) now press SHIFT+SPACE (or other) to see a list of
available methods, UP/DOWN/MOUSE to find the method you want, then
ENTER/TAB/DBLCLICK to select...

      obj.correctMethod()|();

The extra set of braces causes fiddling about that isn't really necessary.
I'd say it's pretty safe to stomp over them.  It gets interesting when the
original method has parameters.  Perhaps if the replacement method has the
same signature, the default behaviour should be to simply use the existing
parenthesis and their contents.

This may seem pedantic, but I see it quite a lot -- generally in repetitive
tasks, which are the ones I like to see sped up the most!
