I found SmartCVS (www.smartcvs.com) to be the perfect tool for that kind of
thing.
You can customize its view to go recursively and show only changed files.
And then you can commit everything at once.

Judging from some postings here, Thomas Singer uses IDEA too, so that's
another bonus point for SmartCVS  :-)
