I agree...

... and I would go further and say that it should be possible to configure the 
location of  the config and system folders. It would make it great for sharing and 
also for not having to re-configure everything when a pc crashes and/or you roam from 
one box to the other.

I don't know if this has been mentioned before or can be achieved
somehow already. We would really *love* to place the code style on a
network drive so that all developers always use the same file. It's
quite inconvenient to enforce the same code style manually on every
workstation...
