Nice option. Thanks Paul.
I wonder if it is not selected by default or it wasn't turn on just because
I copied my old config?
It seems to take care of the Cut&Paste and the Drag&Drop cases. Off hand I
could not come up with another that would justify the indentation from
inside the text of a line.
However I still think it would be a nice addition to SmartTab to have one
Tab keypress from within the leading indentation spaces correctly put the
caret at the right indentation level and remove extra space. Obviously it
would have also to work with the "no tab" mode.

Why the need for SmartTab if the lines were always indented correctly I
wonder?
Anyway I would agree with you if it was a biggy. But since SmartTab is
already a very similar behavior, I believe it might be easy to add it and it
would enhance SmartTab even further.
