Hi, there might be an intermediate option for you... Try out the "hilite" plug-in for Idea. I have not used it myself but I think that it might help you out.
For more information, install instructions and download: http://www.intellij.org/twiki/bin/view/Main/HiLightTool /Christian --------[ From the HiLightTool homepage ]-------- Stack trace with active links This is not really a plugin but an external tool that displays a dialog to allow you to paste in a stacktrace and have IDEA make the filenames clickable automagically. Internally all it does is take the contents of the text area and send it to System.out this then appears in the idea Messages console all nicely highlighted. > -----Original Message----- > From: Christopher Cobb [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] > Sent: den 15 augusti 2002 19:58 > To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > Subject: [Eap-features] Re: CTRL-SHIFT-N enhancement > > > I would also be happy if I could do this from the CTRL-N window... > > Christopher Cobb wrote: > > > I would like to be able to copy a filename and line number > from a stack > > trace like this: > > > > FunctionalRoleDataBeanAdapter.java:191 > > > > and paste it into the CTRL-SHIFT-N window and go write to > that file and > > line number. > > > > cc > > _______________________________________________ > Eap-features mailing list > [EMAIL PROTECTED] > http://lists.jetbrains.com/mailman/listinfo/eap-features > _______________________________________________ Eap-features mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://lists.jetbrains.com/mailman/listinfo/eap-features
