I'd still really like a "jump out of current context" key, like shift-Enter
or ctrl-Enter or something.  Something accessible from the home row... that
will move me outside the current block, outside the current set of parents,
outside the current set of brackets, whatever.

Additionally, any time I type a brace (opening or closing), I'd like it to
be positioned according to my preferences, so I'm not always having to press
extra ENTERs and/or TABs.  Similarly, pressing a ";" outside of a quoted
string should just position the cursor out to the end of the line, where a
";" makes sense and wouldn't be a syntax error.

Call the features "Smart Braces" and "Smart Semicolons" and allow people to
turn the option off if they find it annoying.
