I'd like to be able to turn off the VCS diff coloring of the background. It should be
mapped to a keyboard action, so with single click I'd be able to toggle it on and off..
In fact, it allso annoys me that I can't see my bookmarks in the sidebar anymore...
We can generalize this feature as "Configure hilighting and sidebar", with the
following
options:

(please use monospaced font to view)
The UI for this option could be a dialogue as shown above or a context menu snowing
when
you right-click at empty space in the sidebar.
Any oppinions?
