This is what we are doing, but it doesn't solve the problem wrt the main
menu.  The top items aren't the ones that show up in it.

This has been discussed here: maybe adding a prefix to targets that you 
want to exclude from
visibility.  But of course this is only useful if the set of targets you 
want
is always the same.  But in that case, you could always just put those 
at the top of the ant file.
