Valentin,
I rebuilt the project from scratch, and it works fine now :
- it loads in less than 20 sec., and
- I could reset the old JVM param,
SET JVM_ARGS=-ms16m -mx96m
It looks as if the first time I launched 511, it modified the ipr project file.
(I forgot to tell : after I tried 511 and it failed, I noticed the same ill behaviour
with version 509)
If you want to investigate the problem further, I have the 2 ipr files available.
(I tried to attach them to a previous answer, but my message was rejected by the list
moderator.

Does this problem appear again (that is, do you need so much memory to open
your project) if you close IDEA and start it again?
