While running build 527 during the past few hours to browse and edit code, I noticed it got increasingly slower as time went on. Even while I wasn't doing anything, NT Task Manager showed IDEA's java.exe taking up large amounts of CPU % many times per minute, with gaps of 0% CPU usage in between. I don't recall seeing this behavior in v2.0. Then IDEA suddenly exited by itself. When I restarted IDEA, my comment settings for color and font were changed from green/normal to grey/italic (I haven't changed that setting in months). The high CPU usage was gone.
