I tend to agree with some of your arguments.  However, this is not the
best solution.  Multiple workspaces with dozens of various windows allow
to open a lot of different information separately, which is good from
the information filtering point of view, but bother a lot when you try
to figure out where you are.  This is a complex problem for all the UI
designers.  The OTI guys have done a nice job accumulating best
practices alltogether.  We will try to come up with a concept
simplifying this.  As we have some thoughts open for discussions we'll
let you know.
