I don't think this is a new bug, as I reported this a long time ago on another build. This time I characterized it a better:
Each time the following steps are done, on average a few MB of memory is eaten up and never freed: 1) Do a "Find in Path" on a large project (2000 files in my case). Pick a search string that's pretty common (e.g., "String", "void", "the", etc.) 2) When results come up, close the Find results tab (don't just minimize it) 3) Press the Garbage Collect icon repeatedly until you see no further decrease in amount of heap used After repeating this 20 times, the after-GC memory usage is up by 50 MB in my case. jim _______________________________________________ Eap-list mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.intellij.com/mailman/listinfo/eap-list
