Notice that "In progress" means that there is some uncomplete functionality already available in EAP. It might has nothing to do with internal development. For example, many of the features listed on the site as "planned" are in progress in terms of internal development, just they are not enabled for EAP builds because they are not considered to be suitable for public testing yet.
