I don't know what happened in 611, but I think its gotten worse.  I regularly 
recompile 40 
files a pop now (out of 1500).  Its not too bad, but previously it was only 6 or so.

I also have the problem where the first time I compile, it blows away my RMI stubs. 
(because there are .class files without corresponding .java files.  Luckily, I just 
have to drop 
to a shell, recompile there, and all is well.  IDEA only purges "unnecessary" files 
once.

Is there anything I can do to help debug this?  I can't exactly figure out what files 
it thinks are 
"out of date", becaues it goes too quickly to read.
