I noticed this in 2.5.1 and the most recent build. I create a file through IDEA called "test.txt" and I have this file open in IDEA. If I delete the file through Windows Explorer, my IDEA "buffer"/editor, when sychronization occurs, closes the editor. I'm surprised IDEA doesn't at least prompt me to save the buffer.
