Title: RE: [Eap-list] Feature request : "TODO" flagging

I would also like this feature. But, I would prefer to use the javadoc @todo tag.

JBuilder now understands them, so wherever you type in a /** @todo Internationalize this string! */ it shows you in a convienent way all of the todos in a file in the property dialog.

It would be nice if IntelliJ would show them as yellow warnings, or maybe tell you about them at compile time if you wish.

Ian.

Subject: [Eap-list] Feature request : "TODO" flagging

It would be really great if you could configure IDEA with a "flagged comment" string such as "FIXME" or "TODO", and then the editor would automatically highlight instances of this string in comments with another color on the scrollbars (maybe orange).  There are a lot of times in the development process where you find yourself leaving something to finish/detail later, and you want to drop a marker to remind yourself to come back to it.  Mine typically look like this these days:

// FIXME: Internationalize this string!

You can do this with bookmarks, but I use those for a variety of different purposes, so having a slightly richer semantic would be really nice!

Thanks,
