Hi there, I too encountered the bug where a 'internal error' msg kept popping up in an endless loop when opening a JSP file for editing. The cause for me were folders holding backups of classes which seemed so make idea go nuts. Removing thoses folders solved the problem - although a way would be very appreciated to remove them just from the project without removing them from the file system (if there is a way to do so i just didnt find it). Otherwise editing JSP files works great, except that maybe paths in links to other pages that idea can't resolve shouldnt be marked as errors (we got a portal architecture resolving them thus idea has no 'chance' to resolve them).
