I was merely pointing out the obvious - that the free license is temporary because that lets them cut it off any time they want. They have every right to do that - it's their IDE, and their decision to let us poor fools use their development versions for free so they can make things more stable for paying customers. If they find at some point that it's not worth it, the license will stop getting updated and a bunch of people (me included) will either buy a real license or drop IDEA for some other (and most likely far inferior) product.
