I have been looking into the issue of forcing a Logout when the user leaves our site, either through going to a differnt site, closing the window, or quitting the browser. I haven't been able to make this happen. I do my banking online, and they DO make it happen - somehow. If I go to a different site and then use the back button, I get a page claiming a security violation and requesting a new Login. How do they do that? How do I communicate to my cgi program that the user has left (in any of the possibe ways)?
